Sooo, it's 8 days till Christmas and I am going like crazy to finish my homemade gifts...I have two more big projects, one medium one.  I have a sewing prject left to finish and A TON OF WRAPPING to do!  AHHH!  I am oficially stressed out.....So I was suppossed to post the dishes with mehndi/henna designs i have for sale but didnt have time to take pics yesteday, so i will try to get them up tonight.  But for right now, since i am stressed and rushed I am posting some lovely shoes!  and other nice things to break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a little sparkle or two ;)...

They come up with the most amazing shoes now!  They are like a work of art....I am starting to understand my sisters obsession. :)

And now for some Mehndi that I love, I have had requests for mehndi for the holidays and these have been some of my inpiration as i warm up for some fun get togethers.

SOooo, like any good glamazon, I have been thinking how i will do my hair for Christmas gettogethers and the Big C day, and these are some things that I have been deciding on...I really really really love the first one but will have to practice if it will look anyting close to that Lol....so I cant decide between half up, all up or all down and great accessories.......

How are you doing your hair for the holidays?  What inspires you?  Any makeup Ideas?
A Very Merry Christmas to all!

So I was browsing for sewing insiration this morning and came across some of the up coming trends for 2012 and spring fashion.  It was quite a lovly browse :).
I am loving the 60's inspired as it is much more girly then the last crazy men's fashion for women thing that was going on and I dont not enjoy.  "It is against my religion" - to quote my darling sister when something doesnt flost her boat she always says this the the most high society tone that she can....usually everyone busts out laughing at that piont....so back on topic! Its actually not against my religion, but kinda against my belief system...women dress like women men dress like men...but how far that can go is a whole 'nother post! SOOOO....Back to up coming 2012 looks!
These are the ones I am loving,

Love his top, floral and bright. and the dress yeah love it too.

I am happy that the high low hem line is back in i always love alittle latin flare!

Like the new twist on the 60's                              Yay for ruffles!

I love the a-symmetrical of the dress but not that modest for real life...

Like how they used the color blocking on the pink dress.

I was so thrilled to see this Kahmeez as it is                   Love this one, so versatile
so much like the 6 I have cut out for my little girl!

I adore this belted tunic from American runways, and the bodice of this kameez so much!  No one puts color together like Indian designers! (IMHO)

Love the nails!   oh my *swoon*             Aren't these just the most gorgeous watches you have ever seen?

And shoes!  Gotta have some shoes for my sister dear and all the other shoe lovers!  but seriously how could  you not love these?

So there it is...some of my favorites of the up coming fashions and styles for the holidays and spring 2012!  I am very excited for some of the up coming trends, hurry up spring!

Latest Mehndi/henna designs!

This foot is one of my favorites...the artist did a fabulous job.

Love this one too!  It is possibly close to what will                                                                              on my hands next :)

Nice for a wedding design...cute two halves of a heart.

I love henna/mehndi as anyone who know me knows all too well, it was a borderline obsession at one point i would say, as one design would be almost gone I would be applying another one over top "to practice :)".  And I never dreamed at 17 that I would marry into the culture and really get to have it on my wedding day as I always hoped i would....I had to do it myself tho LOL, as no one in my hubby's family knew how, they had always had me do it for them and would joke about making "the white girl do the Indian girls mehndi"!:)  lots of fun....and through the years i have kept up pretty well with the trends in henna designs.  So when i recently search  - Latest mehndi - on google i was thrilled to see some changes!  more practice for me yay! (I seriously doodle design while sitting through meetings and a few church services (gasp:)), and have a binder full of sample designs for any family that will consent to be my next victim .....:)  I just think the world is a prettier place because of mehndi.....*

Fashion and fabulous-ness ;)

So I have been really noticing people personal style lately (or lack there of)...and it gets me thinking that in all the striving to look perfect in some form or another that us ladies go thru everyday, I think the most important thing is your state of mind. :)  I think a good dose or self-worth, and bunch of sassy-ness and a touch or crazy, with a pinch of hotness (but not too much) thrown in for good measure make up a wonderfully fabulous look, for any woman, and it can't help but turn heads! :)  People will look because you are confident and lovely, men will look because of your grace and fun attitude, and ladies will look too (c'mon you all kno we check each other, to either compare, or take note for look-lifting for our own future use), to see if you are friend or foe....please try not to add so much hotness that you are an enemy rather then friend to other women.  We are important to each other, as friends, support, encouragment and ,....babysitters LOL.

I think it is very important to know yourself well enough to choose some fun, eccentric, pieces as signatures to be worn very often.... a favorite braclet (or stack of them), or necklace, or ring, watch, shoes, makeup look, OR all of the above that are just totally YOU!  Its great to play wth different looks and styles, and i think even as christian woman it is important to enjoy our femininity.  but also important to keep it to enjoyment and not obsession.....which is way to easy to slip into with all the constant pressure on women to be perfect all the time.  But in reality it is impossible to give "Beauty" a check list or specifiac recipe, there are more types and kinds of beauty then we can think of, which is why it is so important to celebrate the kind of beauty God has blessed you personally with, dont fight it, emphecise it, own it, work it girl!

So here is some food for thot.....some things that I think are beautiful and FABULOUS!....
